Prepares you for the written exams behind provincial, IFSAC and Pro Board certification. The questions are written to cover NFPA 1001/1072 topics — they are not questions from any certifying body.
Core Firefighter I topics: safety, building construction, fire behaviour, PPE, SCBA, ropes, ladders, forcible entry, hose, water supply and ventilation.
Firefighter II topics: incident command, fire cause, advanced suppression, rescue operations, pre-incident planning and public education.
Recognising and identifying hazardous materials, the ERG, isolation and protective actions, PPE levels, decontamination and defensive operations.
